Anthony J. Tobin, Jr., 87 of Glen Mills, PA and formerly of Broomall, PA passed away February 17, 2014 at his home in Maris Grove, Glen Mills.
Born in 1926, Anthony was the son of the late Rose (Mullen) and Anthony J. Tobin, Sr.
After high school, Anthony served honorably in the US Army during World War II.
He was a letter carrier with the US Postal Service for 41 years.
Anthony was the beloved husband of Louise D. (DiSciullo) Tobin; loving father of Eric Tobin (Leigh) and Robert Tobin (Margaret); loving grandfather of Katie, Luke, Ryan, Sean and Julia; and dear brother of Kay Faulds (John) of Altoona, PA, Sr. M. Antonita (Sisters of Mercy) of Merion, PA, Eileen Ivers (the late Thomas) of Newtown Square, PA, and Rosemarie Schmader (the late James) of Haverford, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 7:00-9:00 PM Thursday Eve at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and Friday 10:00-10:50 AM at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA, followed by his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to Maris Grove Resident Care Fund, ATTN: Barbara Burri, 200 Maris Grove Way, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
