Antonnette Marie Haughton-Cardenas

Antonnette Marie Haughton Cardenas, 68, of Downingtown, PA, formerly of Kingston, Jamaica, passed away April 28, 2023.

Born August 29, 1954 in St. Mary Jamaica, she was the only daughter of the late Kenneth Antonio and Mistelli Eudora (Scott) Haughton.

She attended Martin Primary School, St. Hugh’s High School, Excelsior High school and then University of the West Indies where she studied Law.  She had her own law practice

She loved reading and debating and had a deep interest in politics.  She was the first woman to form a political party in Jamaica. She enjoyed going to the beach, teaching and caring for her family and friends.

Antonnette is the beloved wife of Osvaldo Cardenas, loving mother of Cheikh Gordon and dear sister of Lennox, Courtney and Garfield Haughton.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, followed by her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Jamaica.
