Arlene Ogden

Arlene E. Ogden (nee Rastani), age 73, of Broomall, PA, passed away due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident on Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born on June 12, 1943 in Fayetteville, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Louis and Edith Rastani (nee Piccolino).
Arlene was raised in Utica, NY and graduated from T. R. Proctor High School, Class of 1961. She received a diploma from the Utica School of Commerce in 1962.
Arlene met the love of her life, Russell Chapman Ogden and they were married on November 26, 1966. They shared a union of over 50 years and celebrated their 50th anniversary on a cruise on the Rhine River with family and friends. Arlene and her husband enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Ormond Beach, FL for over 20 years with their second family of friends.
Arlene was an avid daily walker and loved all forms of exercise, including running. Her gardens (both flowers and vegetables) were tended to daily. She was an active member of St. Pius X Church in Broomall, PA. Her family was her primary interest and they will miss her terribly.
In addition to her husband, Russell, Arlene is survived by her sons John L. (Dawn Marie) Ogden and Russell C. (girlfriend Tina Roach) Ogden, her three beautiful grandchildren, Trevor, Conner and Sophia Ogden, her twin sister, Sandra Carzo (the late Rocky) of Utica, NY and her sister Judith Kleine (Bill) of Lancaster, PA. Arlene is also survived by her sisters-in-law June Cahill and Carole Gionta (Tom). She was predeceased by her sister, Cynthia Ure.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, June 10, 2017 9:30-10:25 AM St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall and to her Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
Contributions in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market Street, Suite 102, Philadelphia, PA 19106 would be appreciated.
