Arthur Leopold "Art" Paquin, Sr. age 66, of LaBelle, FL, previously of Pike Creek, DE, passed away suddenly Friday August 26, 2016. Born in New York, NY Art was pre-deceased by wife of 31 years Joyce Rugg Paquin, also pre-deceased by former wife Catherine "Cathie" McNamee Paquin. Father of Michael P. Paquin, Sr., of Roxborough, Pa, the late Arthur L. Paquin, Jr.(Liz) formerly of East Lansdowne, Michele N. Lloyd (John) of Glenolden, Pa. Step-father to George (Sharon), James (Roberta), Brian Bendel (Joanie) and Shelly Granato (Joe). Survived by Fiance' Patty Nixon of LaBelle, FL, with whom he made his home. Also survived by his sister Jacqueline Kittle of Ft. Myers, FL. Loved and missed by many grandchildren and great grands. Raised in Sharon Hill, Pa. Previous long term residence of Collingdale, Clifton Heights and Wallingford, Pa. Disabled Veteran, proud retired member of the U.S. Armed Forces-U.S. Coast Guard, having honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. Master Carpenter, former owner of masonary construction company bearing his name. Previous Board Member of Riverdale Yacht Club in Essington, Pa. Former dive instructor with Y-SCUBA program. Dancer, singer, diver, skilled craftsman,avid golfer and friend to many. Member of American Legion Post 130. Art worked for the J. J. DeLuca Company as a longtime Construction Superintendent and Union Carpenter out of Local #845.
