Steve Pusey of East Goshen, PA passed away on March 7, 2018 at the Paoli Hospital with his sisters at his side after a brief battle with cancer. Steve was born in Drexel Hill, PA and was the son of Dorothy Ann (Keehn) and the late Arthur Warren Pusey, III (Art).
Steve was raised in Malvern PA, was a graduate of Great Valley High School and received his B.S. from the University of Delaware. He had many professions beginning his career as a sales representative, owned and operated a professional and carpet cleaning business, and most recently was a home and pet care provider. His longest career, and the one that brought him the most satisfaction was as a driver for Rainbow Cab in West Chester, PA. He often shared stories of the many seniors he would transport, the joy he found in meeting them and helping them achieve their daily errands.
Steve was an avid cook, gardener, enjoyed the simple pleasures of fishing, a day at the beach and spending holidays and vacations with his extended family.
Steve was the loving brother of Gwendolyn Burbank, Sharon Meadows (Dave) and Linda Koch (Doug) and the beloved uncle of Rebecca, David, Ross, Michael, and his great-nephew, Logan. In addition to his father, Steve was predeceased by his nephew Kerkie and brother in law Kerk Burbank.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Goshen Valley Recreational Center where the family can be greeted beginning at 11:00 am. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 with the opportunity for friends and family to remember Steve in their own way afterwards. Casual dress is welcome.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Brandywine Valley SPCA, 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester, PA 19380.
