Arthur D. Volpe

Arthur David Volpe, age 86, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Arthur E. and Rose (née Piscielli) Volpe. He is predeceased by his brother, Gene Volpe (Lorraine) and sister, Florence Volpe.

Arthur graduated Drexel University with a degree in engineering. He enjoyed watching all Philadelphia sports teams, was a dedicated runner up to age 70, and also enjoyed hiking. Arthur loved classical music, the Beatles and Sinatra. He was an avid reader as well as a history buff. He was a devoted son, brother and uncle.

Arthur was the loving uncle to Gene Volpe (Dana), Lorraine Crawford (John), Theresa Gallagher (Charles), Stephanie Finnegan (James), Paul Volpe, and Nicholas Volpe (Ann). He was the beloved great-uncle to Gena, Izzy, Maddie, Cece, Claudia, Demi, Charlotte, Jimmy, Jake, and Charlie.

Services and interment will be held privately.
