Baby Cabrera, Jr.

Baby Samuel Nathaniel Cabrera, Jr., 3 months of age, passed away on April 10, 2013. Born in Wynnewood, PA, he was the son of Samuel N., Cabrera Sr. and Jennifer Wycoff. He is survived by his sisters Adrianna, Angelina, Brianna and Gianna Wycoff, his grandmother Gabriella Ferri, his great-grandmother Lucia Groccia, his uncle Paul Wycoff and his aunts Danielle Wycoff and Lindsay Gallagher.
Baby Sammy was such a happy and lovable baby, that always smiled and never cried. We showed him off to anyone everywhere we went. We were the happiest parents cause we had our 4 girls and 1 boy, our family was complete. I will never forget his sister Brianna everyday telling me that we have to go shopping for her baby brother because we have all girl things. His sisters loved him so much. They were very protective over him, they wouldn't let anyone get near him because 'lil' Sammy was their little brother, and they made it known they had and loved their brother. When Sammy Jr. was born I remember how happy everyone was cause we finally got our boy. He may have only been home 13 days from the hospital, but those were my daughters, mine and big Sammy's best and happiest times of our lives. We will always remember and never forget you 'lil' Sammy. You were mommy's little boy and daddy's little sidekick. Just like your sister's tell me "he's our angel and he's OK mommy cause he's with poppy and poppy likes to have fun."
In the words of Billy Joel "Only the good die young." that makes my son GREAT.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Thursday, September 5, 2013, St. Donato Church, 403 N. 65th Street, Philadelphia from 9-10 AM, followed by his Memorial Mass at 10 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. There will be a luncheon following the cemetery at Pica's restaurant on West Chester Pike, Upper Darby. All are welcome to attend.
