Barbara Buchanan

Barbara Buchanan (nee Naughton), age 74, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on March 12, 2022.  Born in Darby, PA, Barbara was the daughter of the late Francis and Grace Naughton (nee Langmuir).

Barbara had been employed as a Human Resource Manager at Sedgewick James.  

Barbara loved animals, and especially her beloved bird, “Peaches.”

Barbara is survived by her companion of 23 years, Max Schmidbauer, her sister Suzanne Ryan-Beedy (Jay). her niece Stephanie (Wayne) and nephew Andrew (Rose).

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Friday, March 18, 2022 10:00-11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara’s memory to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064 would be appreciated.
