Barbara M. McFadden

Barbara M. McFadden, surrounded by her loving family, passed away October 7, 2024 at the age of 90. 

Daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (nee Ramsey) Geary, Barbara is survived by her daughter Maureen McFadden and sibling Sister Patricia Geary, GNSH. Siblings Frank Geary (late Betty) and Mary "Mimi" Breslin (late Paul) preceded her in death. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many lifelong friends, and her faithful grand puppy Molly. Barbara was predeceased by her dear husband Neil J. McFadden.

For many years, Barbara and Neil welcomed and entertained family and friends at their ‘shore’ home in Ocean City, New Jersey. Anniversaries, birthdays, and Easter celebrations were among the must attend events for many. The venue was especially important to the youngest set as the beach called each to fun in the sun. A good time was had by all!

Relatives and friends are invited to Barbara’s viewing on Saturday, October 19 from 9:30 to 10:30, followed by her funeral Mass at 10:30 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA. Interment on Wednesday, October 23 at 11:00 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA.
