Barbara Smith

Barbara L. Smith (nee Quinn), age 79, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on August 28, 2015. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leo I. and Louise Quinn (nee Mittnacht). Barbara was employed as the Business Manager at St. John the Evangelist Church in Philadelphia.. She retired in 2004.



She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James F. Smith, her loving daughter Susan M. Beavers (Robert) and her brother Leo I. Quinn, Jr. She is survived by her loving children James F. Smith (Barbara) and Jennifer A. Venango, her siblings Joan Milnamow, Richard Quinn, Joseph Quinn, Pauline Deeney, Lorraine Cox, Sr. Louise Quinn, OSF, Sr. Mary Virginia, IHM, and her 5 grandchildren Jami Smith, Patrick Smith, Samantha Beavers, Michael Venango and Kevin Venango.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, September 2, 2015, 9:00-9:50 AM Christ the King Church, 3252 Chesterfield Road, Philadelphia, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in Barbara's memory to the Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, 609 Convent Road, Aston, PA 19014 or to the Sister, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata, PA 19345 would be appreciated.
