Born in Anderson, SC in 1937, she was the daughter of the late Vesta (Stone) and Pierson Lackey.
Barbara was the beloved wife of Jerry Mac Sutton; loving mother of George Ragsdale Williamson, Tammy Lynn Williamson, Terry Ann Lawson (Steven), Teresa Williamson Omar (Ravi), Pamela Jean Scales (Thomas), Garland Piercy Sutton and James Woodrow Sutton; dear Memaw of Amber (Barrett), Heather, Coley, Samantha, Robert, Julian, Joseph, Rebecca, Trinity, Shivan, Micayla, Jaden, Sutton and Sabrina; sister of Shirley Barnes.
