Barbara A. Teti

Barbara A. Teti, age 77, of Havertown, PA, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023 after a long journey with cancer. 

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (nee Pflock) Borio.

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Teti; her devoted children, Michelle, Christine, James, and Nicholas Teti; her adoring grandchildren, Alex and Joe Teti; and her loving nieces and nephews, Kathy Doyle-Aicher, William Doyle – and Jordan, Roxanne, and Caroline Teti. 

Barbara had a contagious laugh and was adored by anyone who knew her. In her younger years, she spent 10 years as an elementary school teacher for the Archdioceses of Philadelphia. After raising her children, she worked as a teacher’s aide at Chestnutwold School where her students fondly remember her for her gifts and treats. In fact, Barbara was known and appreciated far and wide for her kindness and her ability to know how to make everyone feel special and loved. She was a mom to anyone who needed one, and accepted and cared for anyone who crossed her path. She leaves behind a legacy of tolerance, acceptance, patience, devotion, and love.

Relatives and family are invited to her viewing Tuesday April 18, from 9:30 to 11:15 AM at Annunciation BVM Parish, 401 Brookline Blvd, Havertown, PA 19083 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
