Barkev Sarkahian

Barkev M. Sarkahian, age 91, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on October 29, 2017. Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Mardiros and Isgouhi Sarkahian (nee Ter Bedrosian).



Barkev emigrated to the United States with his family in 1976. He enjoyed hunting. He was the owner of Nora's Dry Cleaning in Collingdale, PA.



In addition to his parents, Barkev was predeceased by his 3 sisters. He is survived by his beloved wife, Isgouhi Sarkahian (nee Atamian), his loving children Mardiros, Paul, Ani, Nora and Vasken and his grandchildren Vasken, Kyle, Araxi, Lenna, Barkev and Shant.



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, November 3, 2017 10:00-11:00 AM St. Mark's Armenian Catholic Church, 400 Haverford Road, Wynnewood, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.



In lieu of flowers donations to saint Mark's Armenian Catholic Church would be appreciated.
