Battisto "Buddy" Moscia, 84, of Wayne, PA, passed away on January 23, 2019.
Born in Bryn Mawr, PA in 1934, he was the son of the late Francesco and Rosina (nee Filipone) Moscia. Buddy worked as a Stone Mason and was the owner of Battisto Moscia & Sons, Inc. He was a lifelong member of the Italian American Club of Wayne and a member of the Liberty Gun Club. Buddy enjoyed gardening, cooking, hunting, fishing, winemaking, and westerns.
Buddy was the beloved husband of the late Carol Ann (nee McCreary) Moscia; loving father of Susan Moscia Thomulka (Walter), Jean Moscia Patrick, Tina Moscia Petrella, Francesco Moscia (Linda Ann), Bonnie Moscia Dolce (Raymond), Marsiglia Moscia, and Bernard Moscia (Elise); dear brother of Anita Moscia and Nicholas Moscia; predeceased by his siblings, Andrew Moscia, Marsiglia Mitchell (Marcella), and Evelyn Beatty; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 4-6 PM Sunday, January 27, 2019 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087, 610-989-9600 and to his Funeral Mass 11 AM Monday at Our Lady of Assumption, 35 Old Eagle School Road, Strafford, PA 19087. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
