Bernadette K. Edington

Bernadette K. Edington (nee Chapman), age 78, of Aldan, PA, passed away on April 18, 2022.   Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret E. Chapman (nee Hawe).

Bernadette was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill, PA.  She had been employed as a Receptionist at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital.   She also worked for Spectra Guard. 

Bernadette loved to decorate, especially for the changing seasons and holidays.

In addition to her parents, Bernadette was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard V. Edington and her sisters Margaret Nunan and Mary Shaughnessy.   She is survived by her dear sister, Catherine LeRoy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, April 25, 2022 9:30-10:45 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 316 E. Broadway Avenue, Clifton Heights, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall, PA.
