Bernadette E. Glenn (nee Doyle), age 78, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on April 22, 2019.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Elizabeth B. Doyle (nee Lynam).

Bernadette was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia.

She was a graduate of Good Shepherd School and West Catholic Girls High School.



After raising her family, she went back to work as an Executive Secretary in the printing industry.

She loved her family, spending time with her grandchildren, reading and crafts.

She was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially of the Flyers hockey team.



Bernadette is survived by her loving children Raymond Glenn (Mary), Joseph Glenn (Patricia), Diane Hand (Jim), Karen Marano and MIchael Glenn.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Meghan, Kelsey and Jim Hand, Tyler, Morgan, Jack, Ryan, Michael, Taylor and Joseph Glenn, and Rachel and Rebecca Marano.

Sister of John Doyle (the late Margaret), Francis Doyle (Diane), Michael Doyle and the late Jerry Doyle.

Sister-in-law of William and Tish Glenn, Michael and Dolores Glenn and Jean Glenn.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, April 26, 2019 8:30-10:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073 and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA.

Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
