Bernadette M. Lawler (nee Coleman), age 85, of Lansdowne, PA, passed away on September 24, 2017. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Marguerite G. Coleman (nee Cochran).
Bernadette was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia, PA. She was employed as a Directory Assistance Operator for Bell Telephone. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers, a former member of the St. Charles Borromeo Ladies Auxiliary, Chaplain for the American Legion Post 214 in Upper Darby, PA and a member of the Marine Corps League 884 in Secane, PA.
Bernadette was predeceased by her beloved husband, David F. Lawler, her son Francis X. Lawler, her siblings Marguerite Ryan, Joan Powers and John Coleman and her great-grandchild, Rachel Rowe. She is survived by her loving children David Lawler (Diane), Joseph Lawler (Sandy), Bernadette Fleming (Terry), Patricia Simmet (Kirk) and Mary Anne Jandura (Walt), her 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and her brother Joseph Coleman.
