Bernard M. Carr

Bernard M. “Bernie” Carr, age 95, of Havertown, PA, passed away on November 23, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James and Mary Ellen Carr (nee Morrison).

Bernie worked as a Mechanic for Red Arrow and then later Upper Darby Township. He enjoyed working on cars in his garage. Bernie and his friends from Llanerch Hills would get together from time to time and reminisce about childhood days. He loved driving his Cadillacs and spending time at Wildwood Crest Beach.

Bernie was the beloved husband of Dorothy Carr (nee Reardon). Predeceased by his siblings John Carr, Patrick Carr, William Carr, and Mary Brady. Also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 10:00-11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA 19026, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
