Bernard P. Cunniffe

Cunniffe, Bernard Patrick, 89, of Media, PA, passed away on November 7, 2023. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Cunniffe. Devoted father to Eileen, Angela (Richard) Brennan, Brian, Dennis (Elizabeth), Peter (Jodi), Amy (Kirby) Watson, and Jennifer (Scott) Wootten.

Dearest Pop to Erin (James), Kate, Patrick, the late Elizabeth, McKenzie (Chris) Aiden, Carolyn (Max), Samantha (Matt), Annaliese, Jake, Alison, Tara, Grace, and Ben; Great-Grand-Pop to McKenna, Harper, Ethan, and Kerrigan. Loving son of the late James and Mary Cunniffe, dear brother to Sister Margaret Cunniffe, OSF, Anne (Fred) Calabrese, and Francis (Helen) Cunniffe and to the late John, Mary Stenson, the Reverand James (SCJ), Margaret Cleaves, and Thomas.

Cherished uncle and godfather. Long-time volunteer leader for countless organizations, especially those supporting Philadelphia-area youth and Catholic education. The Cunniffe family is deeply grateful to the staff at Granite Farms Estates, especially the care team in Willowbrooke Court and Acts Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to Bernie’s Visitation Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at Our Lady of Fatima Church 1 Fatima Dr. Secane, PA 19018 from 12:30 PM – 1:25 PM followed by his 1:30 PM Funeral Mass. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bernie’s memory may be made to the St. Thomas More Alumni Association scholarship
