Bernard F. "Mace" Thompson, age 79, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 6, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Albert B. Thompson, Sr. and Teresa M. Thompson (nee Dwyer).
Bernard served in the United States National Guard during the Vietnam War era.
He was the Co-Owner of Mace's Crossing in Philadelphia, PA.
Bernard is survived by his beloved wife, Donna M. Thompson (nee Caffrey) and his loving daughter Caitlin Leigh Thompson.
Dear brother of James F. Thompson, Helen M. Thompson, Dolores M. Zeller, Marie P. Grady, and the late Albert B. Thompson, Jr., Joseph R. Thompson, Robert J. Thompson and Dr. John F. Thompson.
Also survived by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Mass Tuesday, March 12, 2019 10:30 AM in The Cathedral Basilica Chapel of SS Peter and Paul, 18th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA, where the family will greet friends in the Chapel from 8:30-10:20 AM.
Interment West Laurel Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
