Bernard Tomassetti

Bernard A. "Bernie" Tomassetti, 68 years of age, passed away on May 8, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Dr. Bernard A. Tomassetti, Sr. and Martha Tomassetti (nee Baird).
Bernie was a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School in Springfield, PA.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era, achieving the rank of SP5 (Specialist 5th Class).
Bernie loved with his whole being unconditionally.
Everyone was treated like family and family was EVERYTHING to him.
He was a loving and loyal husband until the end.
His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy, never missing an opportunity to brag about them.
He loved playing horseshoes, or any other yard game, bowling, gardening, and singing all the time (just try and stop him).
He was a jack of all trades, a handyman, a tinkerer.
If he didn't know how to fix it, he would figure it out.
Bernie is survived by his beloved wife, Valerie Tomassetti (nee Mancini), his loving children Christina Forrest (Patrick), Bernie Tomassetti, III (Mandy) and Vinny Tomassetti.
Dear grandfather of Skylar, Cole and Addison.
He is also survived by his siblings Kathleen Ulrich (Michael), Martha Jane DiBonaventura (Dennis), Nancy DiFabrizio (Tony), Edward (Debbie), Yvonne Celia (Dan), Anita Frattura, Donna Fierraro (John), John (Maria) and Richard (Kim).
He was predeceased by his sister and brother in law Ruthanne and Stephen Henner.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
