Bernice V.I. Jones (nee McCandlish), age, 85, of King of Prussia, PA, formerly of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 23, 2014. Born in Bremen, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clarence C. and Retta McCandlish (nee Stemen).
Bernice was predeceased by her husband, John D. Jones and her 6 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Saundra L.J. (Frank) Hendrickson and her sister Connie Dennis.
Bernice was a member of the Northwest Christian Church, a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and a member of the Ohio Grange.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, July 1, 2014 6:00-7:00 PM followed by her Funeral Service at 7:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610) 989-9600. Interment will be held in Glen Rest Memorial Estates in Reynoldsville, Ohio on July 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM.
