Berry W. Ramsey, of Naples, FL, passed away peacefully on May 17.
Born on March 22, 1916, in Philadelphia, she spent much of her youth in Pittsburgh.
In 1940 she married Charles E. Ramsey of Philadelphia, a former board director of the PQ Corporation.
They raised their family in Strafford Village, PA, enjoying summers on Long Beach Island, NJ. In the 70s, Berry and her husband moved permanently to Naples, FL.
Her four children survive her: Katherine D. Ramsey, of Vancouver Island, Canada, Lynn A. Ramsey, of New York City, NY, Charles E. Ramsey, Jr. (Marguerite), of Naples, FL, and John S. Ramsey (Carol Anne), of Chapel Hill, NC. Six grandchildren and three great-grandsons also survive her.
She will be remembered for her love of family, keen wit, wisdom, patience, elegance, and kindness. Throughout her life Berry had a love of art, music, and travel and was an active volunteer. Her paintings were exhibited in several juried shows in Naples.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
