Bertha M. Creighton

Bertha M. Creighton (nee McElhone), age 89, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Catherine (nee McLaughlin) McElhone.

Bertha attended the West Chester Area Senior Center for many years, where she played and officiated bingo and became friendly with many people. She also loved crafting and cards, especially pinochle. 

Beloved wife of the late James I. Creighton, Sr.; loving mother James I. Creighton, Jr. (Robin) and Deborah McGonigle (Chris); devoted grandmother of Heather Covington (Jamal), Kelly Markley (Christopher), Alyssa Hardy (Kevin), Matthew McGonigle, and Joshua McGonigle (Rebekah).  Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Relative and friends are invited to her Viewing, Wednesday, February 22, 2023, 9:30 – 10:00 AM at Christ Community Church, West Chester, PA, followed by her Funeral Service, 10:00 AM. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
