Betty Lee Moore (née Malmstrom), 72, of West Chester, PA, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025.
Born in Ridley Park, PA, on January 16, 1953, Betty was the cherished daughter of the late Kurt and Edna (née Torbert) Malmstrom. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, a proud grandmother, and a loyal friend.
Betty was the beloved wife of Elliott E. Moore Jr. for 55 years, and the deeply loved mother of Andy Moore (Marie), Jeff Moore (Heidi), and Steve Moore (Beth). Her greatest joy was her family, and she adored her grandchildren: Briggs, Jax, Chase, Jamison, Brody, Parker, Dane, and Juliana, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love.
She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Berkowich (Len) and Tina Hall (Kirk), and by many extended family members and friends who felt like family.
Betty brought joy and warmth to her work at Kelly’s Sports and Scott Honda, where her positivity and care made lasting impressions. She treasured the time and vacations with her girlfriends and especially looked forward to the annual Cabo trip with Kathy and Guy—a tradition full of laughter, sunshine and great memories.
A woman of vibrant personality and unique charm, Betty adored all things Betty Boop and had a special fondness for elephants, symbols of strength, loyalty, and wisdom—traits she embodied every day.
Above all, Betty will be remembered for her unwavering selflessness. She always put others first, offering comfort, support, and love without hesitation. Her presence lit up every room, and her heart made everyone feel at home.
She will be deeply missed and forever treasured by all who knew her.
