Betty A. Zaengle (nee Nagel), age 84, of Havertown, PA, passed away on January 23, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John George and Elizabeth Nagel (nee Gormley).
Betty was the beloved wife of the late Joseph C. Zaengle, Sr., the loving mother of Kathleen Cleary (John) and Joseph C. Zaengle, Jr. (Christine L.). She was the dear sister of Bernadette Donnelly (Hugh) and was predeceased by her fraternal twin sister Eileen Hinchey. Betty was the cherished grandmother of Maria Tierney and Matthew Tierney.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Thursday evening, January 25, 2018, 7-9 PM and on Friday morning 9-10 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Avenue, Havertown, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, PA 19063, or to Main Line Hospice Foundation, 240 N. Radnor Chester Road, Radnor, PA 19087.
