Brian Joseph Russell

Brian Joseph Russell, age 68, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on October 10, 2023. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Bertram and Margaret (nee Park) Russell.

Brian was a graduate of Collingdale High School, Class of 1973.  In 1986, he completed a Computer Operations Program at the University of Pennsylvania.  He went on to work at IMS Health in Plymouth Meeting for 30 years. He played bass guitar in his younger years with many lifelong friends. Brian also learned how to make stained glass windows and loved the details that went into them, as did the recipients of his work.  He was an avid Philadelphia Sports fan. He loved spending time with his friends, from hosting a Mystery Dinner at his home, to challenging them to a game of Bocce ball.  He also loved spending time with his family, with many trips to museums, and creating lifelong memories with them.

Brian was the beloved husband of Lisa (nee Cedrone) Russell; loving father of Anna Russell (Aditya Patel), Thomas Russell, and James Russell; devoted brother of Bert Russell (Eileen), Todd Russell (Nancy), and Keith Russell. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023 at St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment Private.
