REST IN PEACE

B. Edward Heistand, 64, of Coatesville, PA, passed away September 8, 2021.

Born August 10 in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Loretta Heistand.

Ed earned a Bachelors in Mathematics and in Physics from the University of Colorado.

Ed worked as a Senior Business  Analyst at Chubb. Over the years he worked in programming, database architecture, marketing, soil analysis... Ed was interested in many things.

Ed really enjoyed life. He liked old movies, Broadway plays, medieval costumes, aircraft, ships, Dr Who, and online gaming. He enjoyed good food, good mead, and a variety of good music. Ed loved animals, nature, and spent time at the Zoo. He loved to travel and often learned foreign languages in preparation for a planned trip.

Ed is survived by his sisters, JoAnn Chapel and Judi Heistand, his brother-in-law, Steven Chapel, his sweet girlfriend, Yvonne, his nephews Lucas (Serah), Tom (Emily), and nieces Liz (Colin) and Becky, and several great- nephews and nieces.

Services are private.
