C. Shearer

C. Robert Shearer, age 87, of Bryn Mawr, PA, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2013. Born in Upper Darby to the late Charles E. and Mary (nee Owens) Shearer, Mr. Shearer proudly served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a graduate of Haverford College and worked as a banker for Girard Bank until his retirement in 1980. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Catherine C. (nee Campbell) Shearer and is survived by his loving sons Robert C. (Louise), Richard C. and Charles (Julia) Shearer, his beloved grandchildren Michael and Alexandra Shearer , his sisters Barbara (John) Minsker and Eleanor Cataldo and several nieces and nephews.
