Carl F. Bauer, 93, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of New Jersey and Hilton Head, SC passed away on May 8, 2013 at the Heatherwood Retirement Community peacefully, with his family by his side.
Born in 1919 in Germany, Carl was the son of Marie (Ott) and Henry J. Bauer, both deceased.
He was a graduate of Hackensack High School in New Jersey. Following high school, Carl served honorably in the US Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a school equipment Salesman for the Walter A. Braun Company in northern New Jersey.
He was the loving husband for 51 years of the late Dorothy (Riehle) Bauer; loving father of Suzan (Fred) Glasier of Elverson, PA; dear grandfather of Brian (Amy) Glasier, Lauren (Brian) McGaulley and Jeremy (Jacki) Bauer; dear great-grandfather of Alexandra, Emily, Parker, Magdeline, Wyatt and Jordan; dear brother of Rudolph Bauer. He was predeceased by his son, Glenn Bauer.

Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 13, at the Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown, PA 19335, 610-269-3080. Interment will be private at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
