Born in Cortland, NY in 1947, he was the son of the late Ruby Spicer and Carl S. Riese, Sr.
Carl was self-employed and worked on computers as well as repaired engines. He was a 22 year member of Groton Assembly of God's Church in Groton, NY.
He was the beloved husband of Margaret A. (Foley) Riese; loving father of Karen Gunwaldsen, Melissa Miller, Maryann Riese, Robert Riese, Jennifer Gelinas, the late Diane Donohue and the late Pammy Donohue; loving grandfather of Elizabeth and Christina Gunwaldsen, Matthew, Jesse, Victoria and Alexander Miller and Jeffrey Riese; dear bother of Robert Riese, Rosemary Lites, Richard Riese, Cathy Lynch and the late Barbara Barnes.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service 1:00 PM Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Parkesburg Mennonite Church, 6 East 2nd Avenue, Parkesburg, PA 19365.
