Carmelita "Carm" Dolores Gibbons

Carmelita Dolores “Carm” Gibbons, 94, of Drexel Hill, PA passed away on May 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late Joseph Gibbons and daughter of the late Frank and Teresa (nee McMonagle) Sessa.

Carm was a very prayerful, strong woman who raised 8 children on her own. She loved to dance and spend time with her family.

Carm was the beloved mother to Hughie (Anna) Antell, Teresa (the late Michael) Rapp, Michael (Mary Ellen) Antell, Mark (Eileen) Antell, Gregory (Nicholette) Antell, the late Charles “Bucky” (Angela) Antell, the late Carmelita Antell and the late Mary Rita (Marty) Fitzgerald). She was also the loving sister to the late Joseph (late Jane) Sessa & the late Francis (Mary) Sessa, wonderful grandmother to 23 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and caring aunt to many nieces and nephews..

Family and friends are invited to Carmelita’s Visitation on Thursday May 12^th from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 followed by her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Dorothy Church 4910 Township Line Rd. Drexel Hill, Pa 19026 Int: SS Peter & Paul Cemetery
