Carmellina "Carmine" DeRose McDonald, 82, of Broomall, passed away on December 22, 2016.
Born in Paterson, N.J., on November 12, 1934, Carmellina was a daughter of the late Anna (nee Patelmo) and Carmine DeRose.
On June 30, 1962, she married James C. McDonald of Broomall, who survives.
She also is survived by her daughter, Annemarie Mountz (nee McDonald); grandchildren, Rachel Marie Mountz and Kirk James Mountz; sister, Jean DeRose; brother-in-law, Thomas Amodei Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Mary DeRose, Lillian DeRose, Sam DeRose and Mary Amodei (nee DeRose); and her sister-in-law, Alice DeRose (nee Kevoian). Her son-in-law, William L. Mountz Jr., also preceded her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at the Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000 and 10:00-11:00 AM Thursday, December 29, 2016 at SS Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Mausoleum, Springfield, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Neighborhood Hospice, 400 Marshall St., West Chester, PA 19380.
