Carmen Spadaro, of Collegeville, PA, passed away on December 31, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1927, he was the son of Giovanni and Lucia (nee Marcuccio) Spadaro. Carmen graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and worked for General Electric. He served honorably in the US Navy. Carmen was an avid fan of Villanova basketball and he enjoyed bowling, carpentry, and gardening. Humble and hardworking, Carmen was a loving, gentle, and kind husband of 64 years and a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was devoted to his family and always put them first. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Carmen was the beloved husband of the late Lucy Spadaro; loving father of Patricia Yorwerth (Nigel), Eleanor Fogarty (Michael), Teresa Masterson (Greg), Lori Fogel (Jeffrey), and Denise Spong (William); caring grandfather of Rebecca Bundens, Jennifer Juliano, Gregory Masterson, Kristin Mullinax, Ryan Fogel, Connor Fogel, William Spong, and Alicia Spong; dear brother of the late Concetta Spadaro, Grace Farran, the late Angelo Spadaro, Rita D’Amico, and Paul Spadaro; also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:30-11:20 AM Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at SS Philip & James Church, 107 N. Ship Road, Exton, PA 19341, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
