Carol DiFrancesco

Carol A. (nee Castrataro) DiFrancesco, 81, of West Chester, PA, formerly of Aldan, PA, passed away on January 21, 2021.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1939, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (nee Marrone) Castrataro. Carol was a graduate of West Catholic High School. She was an avid reader and loved to cook, especially Italian dishes. Carol had an incredible sense of humor. She loved her family and had a very special relationship with both her granddaughters and her niece, Cheryl Santini, and doted on her great-grandchildren. Carol enjoyed going to the beach while vacationing with her sister, Joanie.

Carol was the loving mother of Sandra Kilgore (Guy); adoring grandmother of Alexandra Kilgore (Aldo) and  Nikalina Kilgore and great-grandmother of Arielle and Dominic; dear sister of the late Joan Kelly; caring aunt of Cheryl Santini (John), David Castrataro, and Christopher Kelly and also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10-11 AM Thursday, January 28, 2021 at St. Agnes Church, 233 W. Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380, followed by her Funeral Mass 11 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
