Carol Ann Miller

Carol Ann Miller (nee Cerritelli), age 78, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 11, 2024. Born and raised in Newtown Square, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Joanne Cerritelli (nee Cucchi). 

Carol Ann was born on December 25, 1945 and loved to celebrate Christmas with her family. As the oldest of five children, Carol learned the value of working hard and was passionate about her education. Carol also had a love for reading, history, politics, and spending time with her seven grandchildren. When she did not have a book in her hand, she could be found saying her rosary or listening to mass. She was deeply religious and dedicated to her Catholic faith. 

Carol was a graduate of Immaculata University where she received her teaching degree. She received her Master’s Degree from Villanova University. Carol served as a teacher and guidance counselor at Northley Middle School for most of her career where she helped many students and parents in the district. As a lifelong member of St. Anastasia, she raised her family in the parish where she emphasized the importance of education and faith. 

Carol Ann was the loving and devoted mother of Melissa McLaughlin and Megan Meehan; adoring grandmother of Keegan McLaughlin, Ryan McLaughlin, Shane McLaughlin, Liam McLaughlin, Carolyn Meehan, Molly Meehan, and Lauren Meehan; caring sister of Rodger Cerritelli (Elizabeth), Thomas Cerritelli (Ellen), Janice Kovolenko (George), and the late Linda Cerritelli. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Carol Ann's Viewing 9:30-10:30 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024 at St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
