Carol L. Padden, 64, of Narvon, passed away on June 28, 2015. She fought a long hard battle with a terminal lung disease for 10 years. She is now in a better place and we all look forward to seeing her again.
Born in Philadelphia in 1950, Carol was the beloved daughter of Helen Padden.
Carol was the loving mother of Michele Reed; loving grandmother of Jami Padden, Mark Dunn, and Nickolas Levin; dear sister of Shirley Perez (Husband-Hugo), Geraldine Pizzi and Mary Degregoria; also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, July 3, 2015, 10:00-11:00am at The Donohue Funeral Home, 43 W Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335, (610)269-3080, immediately followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00am. Interment at Philadelphia Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Family House, 401 Callowhill St., Phila., PA 19123. This facility was a great help with her long trips to Temple University Hospital. It is a place for families to stay when loved ones are receiving medical care and cant make it home for a few days. Family can stay there for a minimal fee so to return to the hospital in efficient time.
