Carole Fischer

Carole M. Fischer (nee McGann), age 65, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on January 8, 2014. Born in Philadelphia, Carole was the daughter of the late William P. and Margaret Egan Fenton McGann. She was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School in Drexel Hill.



Carole was a happily retired Upper Darby School District bus driver. She enjoyed going camping with her husband, family and friends in Berks County, as well as vacationing with her family in Ocean City, NJ. Her greatest love was her 6 grandchildren.



Carole is survived by her husband George A. Fischer, her children Elizabeth A. Ryan, Philip R. Fischer, Brian G. (Katie) Fischer, Kevin W. Fischer and Pamela (Ashley) Raftas, her grandchildren Caden, Andrew, Jackson, Paige, Janie, and Lia, and her siblings Joan McNichol (the late John), Peggy (Joe) Salvucci and Bill (Carol) McGann.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from

5:30 PM-7:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.) Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to her Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
