Caroline W. Willman (nee Wilbur), age 92, of Devon, PA, passed away on October 7, 2018. Born in Asbury Park, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Wilbur, M.D. and Edith Wilbur (nee Hawken).
Caroline earned her bachelor's degree from Penn State University. Her college education focused on early childhood development, and she was employed as a pre-school teacher for more than 30 years. An avid reader, Carol also enjoyed intricate knitting projects, cooking and playing the piano. She was a lifelong advocate of animal welfare, and a tireless, devoted caregiver to her family members.
Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, George P. Willman. She is survived by her loving children Barbara W. Bagge (Richard) and Robert G. Willman (the late Sharon), her dear grandchildren Daniel, Becca (Rich Carr), Gabriel, Jeremy, Michael, Joel, Jonathan and Matthew and her three precious great-grandchildren Liam, Callum and Stella Carr.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA 19087.
