Carolyn H. (Meider) Staino

Carolyn H. Staino, age 84, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2022.

Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Geraldine (née Niemond) Mieder.

Carolyn loved going to the shore, especially Ocean City, NJ.  She enjoyed walking the boardwalk and eating salt water taffy.  She was also a great dog lover.

Carolyn was the beloved wife of the late Louis “Lou” A. Staino; the loving mother of John Walton (the late Carol), Ronald Walton (Cindy), Amy Dunfee (John), Louis Staino (Dorothy), Michael Walton, and Susan Cant (Steven).  She was the devoted grandmother of Jessica, Christina, Shane, Brenton, Cara, Kiersten, Michael, Laura, Stephanie, Sarah, Andrew, and Emily, and the adored great-grandmother of Saleen, Sawyer, Sparrow, Sullivan, Skylar, Griffin, Hayden, Ava, Amaia, Aidan, Claire, and Jack.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Saturday, March 5, 2022, 10:00 – 11:00 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, followed by her Funeral Service, 11:00 AM.  Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
