Catherine Elizabeth Bisbing

Catherine Elizabeth Bisbing, 86, of West Reading, PA, formerly of Elverson, PA, passed away April 1, 2023.

Born January 18, 1937 in Llanerch, PA, she was the daughter of the late John William and Veronica Alberta (nee Eisenmann) Bisbing.

Catherine earned an MBA from Temple University. She worked for several hospitals in Philadelphia in various  roles, as well as in HR for several local firms.

She was accomplished and creative at hand crafts and as a seamstress ; an avid gardener and photographer; played bridge at every opportunity; and loved to travel.

Catherine was the loving mother of Catherine A. Chess, James P. Connell, David H. Connell, Kevin C. Connell, and Melissa M. Henderson; adoring grandmother of Rebecca Chess-Pettit, Megan Henderson, Colleen Henderson, Kirsten Connell, Andrew Connell; great-grandmother of George Chess-Pettit, and Violet Chess-Pettit; and dear sister of Paul E. Bisbing. She was predeceased by her brothers: John W. Bisbing, Jr., and Robert Bisbing.

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 20, 2023 at St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown.
