Catherine F. Gustafson (nee Flaherty), age 85, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on September 15, 2013.
Born in Gowanda, NY, she was raised in Timbuck where she met and married her husband Henry (Bud). They lived in Timbuck, Bemus Point, NY, and Randolph, Ohio before settling in the Philadelphia area in 1970. She was a homemaker and mother and worked as a bank teller, cook, and retired as the business manager of the Lutheran Deaconess House in 2003. She was involved with church women's groups, loved to travel, and spend time with family.
She is survived by her children William (Joellen), Paul (Lauren) and Susan Frederick (Philip) and six grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Henry R. (Bud) Gustafson.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12 at 2:00 PM at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Mt. Jewett, PA. It will include burial at Nebo Cemetery and a coffee hour afterward.
