Catherine R. McDevitt

Catherine R. McDevitt, age 93, of West Chester, PA, passed away on December 3, 2023.

Born in Darby, PA in 1929, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Stephanie (Hyman) McDevitt.

Catherine worked for the Chilton Company. She loved to play sports, especially softball. While pitching for her company in her younger years, she pitched the winning game for the city softball championship.

Catherine was the loving aunt of Helene M. Reid, John Koob, Kathy Woodward, Michael McDevitt, Patty McDevitt, and Marybeth McDevitt. She was predeceased by her siblings, Edward McDevitt, Bernard McDevitt, Helen Koob, and Jack McDevitt; also survived by her sister-in-law, Mim McDevitt.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-10:30 AM Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Avenue, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
