Catherine M. Murphy (nee Jackson), age 74, of Upper Darby, PA and Margate, NJ, passed away on June 29, 2015. Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur L. and Elizabeth Jackson (nee Riley). Catherine was employed as a Secretary for Upper Darby Township.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Murphy, her sister Anna Layden and her brother Arthur L. Jackson, Jr. She is survived by her sisters Mildred Speer and Ruth Kelly, many nieces and nephews and her dog, Chalupe.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday, July 6, 2015 10:00-11:00 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Compassionate Care Hospice, 518 S. Shore Road, Marmora, NJ 08223 would be appreciated.
