Catherine Williams (nee Kee), age 63, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2018 in Philadelphia, PA after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Judy Kee (nee Welch).
Cathy grew up in Wilmington, DE and graduated from Ursuline Academy in 1973, after which she went to the University of Delaware and Immaculata University. She married her beloved husband Anthony (Tony) Williams in 1985. Cathy and her family settled in Hockessin, DE where they lived until 1997, moving next to Greenville, DE, and eventually to Villanova, PA.
She worked for her family's business, Kee Supply Company, for many years before moving to Greenville, DE where she worked for Apropos. After moving to Villanova, she worked for Louella in Wayne, PA.
Cathy had a great love for the Jersey Shore, and she, Tony, and their family spent many summers vacationing in Stone Harbor and Avalon. Though she spent a lot of time on the beach, she also greatly enjoyed cruising the back bays of Avalon with her husband, Tony, on their boat the "Catherine Ann", as well as entertaining when the boat was docked.
She also enjoyed traveling with her family to Europe, the Caribbean, and especially to Walt Disney World, "The Happiest Place On Earth" Over the course of 40 years, she traveled to the Magic Kingdom over twenty times and loved every visit.
Cathy is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Anthony (Tony) Williams, her daughter Christine Elizabeth Williams of Phoenix, AZ and her son Matthew Anthony Williams of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by her brothers Kenneth Kee of Wilmington, DE, Jeff Kee (Dana), of King of Prussia, PA, and Terry Kee (Lynn) of Wilmington, DE and her aunt, Mary Welch of Glen Mills, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 9:00 AM-10:45 AM at St. Thomas of Villanova Chapel on the Campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA.
