Catherine McCullough Witt, age 87, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, she was the youngest of four daughters born to her loving parents, Michael and Margaret McCullough (Henry).

Catherine was a proud graduate of West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1955. Catherine was deeply devoted to her family and friends and guided by her strong Catholic faith, which was the cornerstone of her life. Her unwavering faith in God shaped her generous and compassionate spirit.

She worked for many years as the Concierge at The Quadrangle in Haverford, PA, where her warm smile and genuine kindness welcomed each resident and guest. Catherine had a unique gift for making everyone feel special, often brightening their days with flowers or thoughtful treats to remind them they were loved.

Catherine’s home was always a gathering place, lovingly decorated for every holiday and filled with the spirit of celebration. Baking delicious Irish scones and dressing up for every Halloween, Catherine shared her talent for effortless entertaining as she hosted special dinners and milestone events. Catherine also took great pride in her Irish heritage, finding joy in traditions such as attending St. Patrick’s Day parades and cheering on grandchildren at Irish dance competitions. Her enthusiasm for these events brought family and friends together, fostering a shared appreciation for her rich cultural roots.

Catherine will be most remembered for her loving devotion to her four daughters, fourteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children Maria Daly (Patrick), Rosemary West (David), Patricia Maguire (Bill) and Catherine Quirk (Dan). Loving MomMom of Mary Kate Johnson (Peter), Patrick Daly (Alyssa), Maura Tiberi (Christopher), David West, Timothy West, Catherine Haegele (Mathias), Michael West, Billy Maguire, Marypat Maguire, Daniel Maguire, Margaret Quirk, Cecilia Quirk, Grace Quirk and Caroline Quirk. Great-MomMom of Daniel, Clare and Christian Johnson, Lauren, Patrick and Colin Daly, Emma Tiberi, and two new arrivals due in 2025. Loving aunt to Maryanne Rayer (Mike), Jim Kane (Joan), Meg Riley (Shawn) and Ave Preston (Ed). Catherine was predeceased by her loving sisters, Mary, Anne and Peggy and dear brother-in-law, Jim Kane.

Relatives and friends are invited to Catherine's Visitation 9:00-10:00 AM on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Rd., Broomall, PA 19008, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
