Catherine E. "Kay" Wopatek (nee Calhoun), 96, of West Chester, PA passed away on February 15, 2017.
Born in St. Paul, MN in 1920, she was the daughter of the late George and Ellen (Nichleson) Calhoun.
She was the beloved wife of the late Walter R. Wopatek; loving mother of Raymond W. (Kathie) of Secane, PA, Kathy Wopatek-Nigsch (Don) of Somers Point, NJ and Mary Kay Wopatek of West Chester, PA; loving grandmother of Richard Tate, Natalie Haggerty (Brian), Richard Nigsch (Rachel) and Katie Nigsch; dear great-grandmother of Luke and Cole Haggerty. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Fowler (Arthur), nephew, Steven Fowler (Sue) and niece, Judith Edgett.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA, 610-431-9000 and 9:30-10:20 AM Thursday at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd, West Chester, PA followed by her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA
