Cathy Lynn "Cat" Simons, 48, of Cape Coral, FL, went to be with the Lord on August 31, 2014. She was born in Philadelphia to her parents Sid and Edith Kay Simons. Cathy moved to Cape Coral in 2005 from Woodland Hills, CA.
She was predeceased by her parents and her brothers Larry E. and Wayne R. Simons. Cathy is survived by the love of her life, with whom she lived, Leroy (Chachi) Aberle of Cape Coral, FL and her daughter, Alesia Simons-Parico (aka Kali) of CA. Cat was also very involved with Chachi's children Toni Lee and Vanessa and her children Sophia and Dylan.
In addition, Cathy is survived by her six sisters Gale Mastrangelo, Patty Kohler, Carol Scheifele, Donna Goodyear, Diane Rinaldi and Denise McCoach, her older brothers Steve Simons and Tom Simons, her aunt and uncle, Eileen and Bob Simons, and her aunt Dorothy McLaughlin, as well as 18 nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by many grand nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends in Cape Coral.
Cathy Lynn was a fun loving partner, mom, sister, aunt, niece and friend who was generous and kind and would forego her last meal and give to the homeless. Cathy's beautiful smile and positive outlook on life will be truly missed.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Cape Coral. Interment will be private.
