Cecelia Kollias

Cecelia Kollias (nee Priovolos), age 96, of West Chester, PA, passed away on July 28, 2022.

Born in Boynton Beach, FL in 1926, Cecelia was the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary (nee Pappas) Priovolos. She was devoted to her family and was the epitome of what a mother should be. Thank you, Mom, Mom-Mom & Yia Yia for this amazing family that all started with you and Papou.  Thank you for never saying no, for teaching us the family values that we all use every day. We will treasure all the special memories you helped to create and making our lives more complete. May your memory be Eternal.

Cecelia was predeceased by her husband, Paul D. Kollias, with whom she shared 71 years of marriage. She was the loving mother of Peter P. Kollias (the late Karen), Ernest P. Kollias, Sr. (Mary), and Denise Gorman (Gilbert Jr.); devoted grandmother of Ernest P. Kollias, Jr. (Donna), Elisa Bicking (Justin), Nicole Dougherty (David), Stephen Kollias (Shannon), Christina Slifer (Paul), Kenneth Kollias (Kelly) and Paul Gorman (William Hillegeist); caring step-grandmother of Gilbert Gorman, III (Dawn), Robert Gorman (Shannon), and Ryan Gorman (Jennifer); adoring great-grandmother of Stephanie, Indiana, Carter, Elaina, Ace, Quinn and Luke; and dear step-great-grandmother of John, Janine, Jake, Chase, Mia, and Madison; also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church, 35 N. Malin Road, Broomall, PA 19008, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Lawnview Cemetery, Rockledge, PA.
