Cecilia S. Blanche (nee Sullivan), of Devon, PA, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of August 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Blanche graduated from Immaculata and Temple Universities and then taught at West Catholic Girls High School, Rosemont College and Villanova University, where she taught various courses in the Communication Arts Department for 35 years from 1965-2000. She was an accomplished and respected teacher, actress, director, debater and professor.
Beloved wife of the late Arthur M. Blanche. Dear mother of Michelle B. Ma (Albert), Nicole B. Guerin (David) and A. Michael Blanche, III (Caroline Fenkel). Loving grandmother of Julia, Justin, Grace and Allison. Sister of Julia S. Harkins (the late Frank) and Jeannie Francis (John). Also survived by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Margaret Mary Underwood.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation Saturday 9:30-10:20 AM, Church of St. John Neumann, Radnor Road and Highland Lane, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to Camilla Hall, Immaculata, PA 19345 would be appreciated.
